Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization that gives blankets and quilts to seriously ill or traumatized children.

Our Mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of NEW HOMEMADE WASHABLE blankets and lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers.

The Nashville Chapter began in October 2001. Kit Rosskamp from Hartsville, TN was appointed Coordinator. We held our fist "Blanket Day" on March 16, 2002 in Lebanon, TN at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. Several "blanketeers" were recruited that day through newspaper articles and television coverage. The Chapter was on it's way.

Blanket Day & Baby Shower
Saturday, 7/26 from 9-2 pm.
It will be held at Church of the Nazarene on 231 N

We are holding a blanket day and "Baby Shower" for General Hospital in Nashville.  Gifts we are looking forward to are sleepers, onesies, socks, wipes, disposable diapers, lotions, baby wash, sweaters, etc.  Things to help these babies get off to a good start.

For more information and/or directions contact Kit Rosskamp at 443-3855, 604-7317, or kitrosskamp@yahoo.com

Since the chapter began we have delivered over heart.jpg (1146 bytes)4036heart.jpg (1146 bytes) blankets to traumatized children within our "borders". Sadly, more blankets are needed because there will always be children in need.
